best game that I can remember playing in a LONG time. It's competing with studying for my law finals, though, which is bad :)

+1

:(

I work at EA games too and there are a lot of people getting "sick"...

Lucky I have a better excuse.

I am only 5-10% into the game and I am still not comfortable with the controls. The controls are really frustrating.

Tuff Gong is definitely my favorite radio station too.
tuff gong, fusion, classics, and the dancehall station are my favorite stations. i wonder hw much that tuff gong license cost.

you're completely wrong, Mario Kart Wii is the best video game ever made. the War and Peace of all video games.

PS Ayn Rand is a Whore
Funny that someone with the s/n Marx would bash Ayn Rand. She would probably hate you right back. The electro station's pretty solid but I can't listen to that kind of electro house for very long. The insane amounts of compression get to me after a while. Classic is a really badass station too. Honestly I'm impressed with all of the stations. I've heard Coltrane and Sonny Rollins on the jazz station thus far, a lot of Bob Marley on Tuff Gong. This game's amazing.
The only thing Ayn Rand and Karl Marx have in common is their disdane for Capitalism. Past that they are almost completely opposite.

Ironically, GTA 4 and MarioKart are similar in that they both have a lot of drving in them. Past that they are almost completely opposite.

Not that I want to take away from discussion on one of the sweetest video games I've ever played, I'm going to have to ask for a little clarification on Rand hating on capitalism. Unless I was too stoned to miss something this major while reading through what I thought was 1100 pages of laissez-faire capitalism loving Atlas Shrugged... Egoism aside, one of the major points of the book was to show what can happen if you mess with a balanced system of capitalism. Anti-Dog-Eat-Dog, Wesley Mouch's bullshit coalition, etc; I'm asking out of ignorance not arrogance because I have only read Atlas Shrugged.

Having said that, I take back what I said about the electro station. I can deal with a few Justice songs to hear some of the gold they play. How far are you guys in the game? I'm at ~19% and loving every minute of it. I'm actually finding the game a little inspiring for music. I'm currently working on a lot of sample driven stuff so all the cars, crashing, guns, and violence and making some of the gears upstairs turn.

this game is just awesome, hundreds of nice touches to what was already a great franchise.

a nice map showing all kinds of stuff

some cheats

20% complete and I've mostly been wandering around playing with the AI. the DJ Premier Radio station has been killing me, not to mention hi def. I really like the new system of running from the cops' radius over the Pay n Sprays. the GPS nav is a godsend. etc etc etc.

yeah, good point, I'm sure that greedy beezy Rita Marley is making out big time, while Aston Family Man Barrett, who wrote many and arranged almost all of the catalog gets the shaft.

anyone else finish? ;)
not the whole thing, just got through the main storyline. I'll never get to 100%. once you get the combat system down the missions get a LOT easier.

truly a 10 out of 10 game.

I have been playing this more than I would like to admit and I am also at around 20%.

The multiplayer is surprisingly fun, however annoying that there is no way to set up a filter for say "auto-aim on only" or "auto-aim off only", game length, etc.
