true, but in order for this to be a problem you would need to make a rack that, running on your machine, makes it glitch out.

Anything you add after a, say, 80% rack load to one core would be distributed to the other core, making the problem null and void, non?

I have to say that the above example doesn't scale. I get glitches above 72% without Coolbook. If i add Coolbook in the game I can gain something but this is because of throttling. If the racks would have been made to use different cores I should obtain the same results when using rack or split tracks and there's a good 16% difference.... No, racks doesn't scale. This happen also using the demo on a 2.0Ghz XP Machine, a Toshiba M9, kindly provided by my employer..
Have you tried the above test? I'm curious!
I think Racks are not Core Thread savvy by design. This should be changed.

I haven't claimed that racks scale, nor have I any reason to.

My underlying question remains though: Do you get overruns/glitches while running the two synths in one rack?

Is this "problem" anything but a theoretical excersise, is what I'm wondering.

cheers.

I apologize if I wasn't clear..
I get glitches when using two instances of Analog in a Rack.
so I setup a case to ask an enhancement request to the Abes.
However can you confirm it on your machine?
I really think Racks should scale like tracks do, otherwise, one day or the other
you drop an additional instrument there and gotcha! it's glitches day....
Do you think I should ask for this or not?
