hmmph, I was initially thinking since it was shorter the user's wrists might be under more strain, but ya I wasn't accounting for the numberpads being removed.

how much was it ? imo It would be a nice keyboard for lounging / multimedia use, wireless FTW. For work I think I'd definately want to stick with full sized keyboards...but I go wireless then too because I don't want to sacrifice a usb port

just to re-iterate, it *is* full-size, only doesn't have the numpad.

my 5 y.o. power book doesn't make it 5 minuets on the battery, and it's been that way for 4 years

I have the wired one, and it is the best keyboard that apple have ever made, that's admitting that all the previous apple keyboards were heinous though. I particularly hated the design of the last one, and cannot begin to fathom why they put the keys in a tray that collected all the crap you could drop into it.

You have a defective battery. Mine lasts at least an hour.

whoops - I meant to say 6 months!!!

but hey, this is timely, I just got off the phone to HP because I'm still in the 1 year warranty and they're sending me another battery - just based on what I said on the phone

I was fully expecting to have to go through a total palarva and send it off etc, but he just got me to check the BIOS revision, took my details and said I should receive it in 3-4 days!!!!!

bit of a result really, although I could end up with 2 rubbish batteries, but at least then it will last twice as long!!

I like my wireless Apple keyboard a lot. It doesnt need to much room infront of (or indeed on top of) my master midi keyboard.

Batterys last for ages too.
