hi, am using motu traveler with roland kit via midi to drum rack

works well, latency not an issue to my ear

only problem im having is that won't trigger entire sample. for example have loaded crash sample in to drum rack but will only small part of the sample. crash sounds more like a high-hat

ideas anyone?

used live since version (can't remember) using acoustic drums (and other stuff I can hit) with midi triggers, no sequenced parts, all in real time without fixed tempo's ( a pre-requisit, I can't keep in time).
turning point was inclusion of vst instruments and then midi fx... mmm midi fx... not very hip, not a dj but very happy... I think my therapy has worked, thanks doctor, thanks ableton.
