I can put in good word for the k240s.
I was underwhelmed at first, but quickly realized it's just that they have a very flat frequency response. And flat sounds pretty much ugly. For me their most outstanding quality is that they are built to take abuse. I have stepped and tugged their lines countless times. Also overdrove with insane level signals and stuff. These things seem to keep along fine. Guess it's cockroaches, sm-57s and K240s after the fall-out!
