wasn't trying to be a dick. but people are always bitching about the moderation issue yet they keep coming back continuously. I figure if something is bothering you that much maybe you just should find a new forum. if you're still coming back then it must not be bothering you all that much.

Ok, not trying to be a dick either, seriously, but by that rationale if a bunch of crack heads set up a crack house on my block, or a brothel next door to my house I would just move? Or can I complain to the authorities. Can I get pissed off when the authorities do nothign about it?

See what I'm saying? To me "not coming back" isn't an acceptable alternative. No it has not gotten that bad, yet.

I've been posting here for 5 years for a reason. I love this forum. Given that I think I have every right to speak up about this if I choose. My only option should not be, and is not, "to find another forum".

whatever happened to that weird firefix fix that somebody came up with? I never really read about it but it seems they hacked a way to block users or something.

Used to be the bots would make their own threads for the most part and you could avoid them. This guy is posting in the regular threads though. This isn't a bot, this is one of us.

We had the same postings on our site, too. I fixed this totally (no spam postings since then).

If anyone of the Ableton team reads this, contact me and I'll tell you the two small tweaks you need in your phpbb. As there is a "war" going on between spam idiots and forum administrators, I wouldn't like to post it here.
