Here in Auckland it is marginally worse as it also gets humid...
you want humidity? try Qld - up to 90% in the summer

it rarely gets above the mid 30s (C) but the humidity will kill ya

Exactly! 8 months out of the year it's paradise here. I mean being able to wear shorts in December, where else north of the Equator? :)

last Xmas I was swimming in the ocean in San Diego, no wet suit, no worries.

best part about it, I wasn't in Phoenix. :P isn't the average age there 58? to each their own, live where you love, love where you live.

but if you forget the whole time of year and equator thing, I wear shorts all year round here

getting really cold in the house at night though now, but go out in the day it's still nice and sunny
