Wim Kok and Wim Dik..

the first was our prime minister, the latter CEO at the largest dutch phone company..

I saw them on the news once, together at an international bla bla congress..

I just imagined how things would go when they introduced themselfs to people they met at that congress..

"..hello, I'm Wim Kok.. and I'm Wim Dik.. nice to meet you.." :)

I went to school with 2 brothers named Andrew and Peter Nurse.

Every morning the teacher did the register and we were subjected to:

A. Nurse and P. Nurse

It never got old.

Dig these:

An old friend of mine taught as a substitute teacher for almost 20 years in Georgia. She wrote down every wacky name she came across...and you can imagine how many students she saw in that time. I swear to God the following names were on her list:

Olympia Fudge
Laportia Ferrari (le porsche)
Diamond Jule-ree Earring
Formica Dinette (she used this as her stage name in her band)

and the Grand Prize Winner:

Mathematical Enthusiasm Brown
Live Show Rig: MacBook Pro, 2.3ghz Intel i7, 16GB RAM, Motu Ultralite

Desktop Rig: 8 core Xeon, 20 gig RAM, RAID 0 drives, Zoom LiveTrak L-8, Windows 10

Parents ordered to change girl's Talula Does the Hula name

A New Zealand judge has ordered that the parents of an eight-year-old girl change her name, saying it is highly embarrassing and makes the child a target for ridicule.

The girl, who lives in New Plymouth on the west coast of the north island, is named "Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii".

The Family court was told that the child is so mortified she has not told any of her friends her real name.

Judge Robert Murfitt ruled that the name was a social disability.

The girl's parents have separated and she has been placed under the court's guardianship while a new name is selected.

Judge Murfitt says he is appalled by the judgement of some parents.

He says in New Zealand there are children called Midnight Chardonnay, Number 16 Bus Shelter and Violence.
