Mad Props to Trackteam for drum.crate
Thanks Mike!
I just downloaded and installed the new version of DrumCrate (Drumcrate_Live7a.zip) and it works great!
For info, I did have to click on "replace all" during install, otherwise I still had the problems of unfound tom samples and unfound audio units (I guess that's because I already tried to install the pack, so I really had to replace the clips with new updated versions)
Hope that it works for everybody!
And now, let's get back to business, making great music
Thanks again Mike
Cheers

Yes, you should uninstall the older version of drum.crate from Live's Preferences/Livepacks.
As for the audio units being embedded, i believe its a bug and i have contacted ableton support about the matter, I went through all of the LiveSets/LiveCips and there were no instances of any audio units in there. All i did was resave the sets/clips and they seem to work fine. if you see any other situations like this send an email to - contact@ trackteamaudio.com

Dont know why the MPD would not send note off messages ( if thats the problem ). Indeed some of the presets use the "release stroke" modules/racks which activate when a MIDI note off is detected. Id say check out the MPD documentation. Perhaps the pads are set to a toggle or something that suppresses a note off message? Seems to be caused only with the MPD24 as you mentioned it worked fine with MIDI keyboards...feyshay wrote:Also, I realized that my Akai MPD 24 does not transmit note off properly.
One of the presets has a Note Length in the chain which has a chain that is only activated with Note Off. (Giving a nice sound when you end the sound.)
I found that this worked fine on my MIDI keyboards but not with the MPD 24. I only get the Note On chain activated (not the Note Off chain).
Any advice on this?
