Looking through the package contents, the font file doesn't actually exist where the installer thinks it should. i.e. "Automat1.component/Contents/Resources/automat.ttf"

Yours might work because you already had the font installed...
you can grab the font file from the package and install it manually... copy it into /Library/Fonts if you want it available for all users, or ~/Library/Fonts to install for just the account you are logged in to...

Right, but the font file is not in the package.

I downloaded the old beta and had to install the font into the main font folder for all users, as it still didn't work when I put it in the user font store. Now it works :)

After moving around the envelopes on the bruteforce preset suddenly a loud click appears and all sound was gone. Had to restart to get sound back.

Im sticking to the old version.

I'll stick to the beta till I'll read that kind of posts...

and I'm using more than 12 automats in my liveset, so if the non-beta eats lots of more cpu... my computer won't appreciate !!

and if the non-beta provides nothing significantly interesting, what's its interest?

cheers

2 questions:

1) is this release REALLY interesting in comparison to the beta? :?

2) will my beta synth patches sound the same (and do actually work) in this non beta?

best regards

But, nice nonetheless.
Yes. It's mostly bugfixes and code optimization. I think it's stable enough to not call it beta anymore.

I am still working on a proper mono mode. I hope i can upload an update with mono/legato mode soon.

Hi, can you recreate this bug or did it occur just once?

About the font problem ....

For some "unknown" reason i am having a hard time with Live and my gui code. On some systems the text suddenly disappears and all text controls are empty. The only solution i could come up with was to remove the font from the component folder and put it directly into the users font directory.

The installer script takes care of that and the proper location of the preset / samples and tuning files.

When you first download Automat1.0 the font is inside the component. The installer script moves it to the font folder and then everything should just work. (Hopefully)

Regards,

stiwi

* It uses less cpu cycles on presets with lots of filtes.
* Fixed several minor bugs and glitches.
* Passes validation with auval again and therefore works with Logic.
