Uff, of course it is a great city, just a bit to full of rats, alternative Nazis, and talkers. I was 11 years abroad and hoped it changed, but it feels to me that there are still to many loosers around. Sold out the city? Damn punk alternative looser Nazis they are!!!noisetonepause wrote:Eh, I just came back from there and it was great as always.SubFunk wrote:yupp!blaugruen7 wrote:stop hyping this city.

Hadt should be habt, but it means "you've sold the whole city"Stace wrote:"ihr hadt die ganzen stadt verkauft" Translation please me old pedigree chumz?
sorry, for the missunderstanding... not seeing nazis and rats everywhere... first of all i don#t mean nazis as such... but those very typical berlin Öko, enviromental, hradliners.. which come close to nazis, just under a different flag... and they are annoying... being very health, enviromental concious myself... and berlin did not sold out, for my taste it could easy use a dash more of style and uppper class attitude. just to keep things in a healthy balance...esky wrote:Ok, guys. First read then think then write. It's not a film about Berlin in first place, it's about a Dj who's missing his album deadline because of his drug addiction. This can happen in London, in Melbourne and even in Bratislava. So it covers a theme which you might take serious as some blokes start seeing rats and nazis all over the place. Spooky...!

Quite funny!![]()
Btw, there is a nice article about club acoustics in the recent issue of Groove.
It kind of really sums it up what annoys me more and more about this city:
Everything's got to be so fancy on the outside, but definitely lacks quality on the inside!

on friday the 5th of september is the closing party of a club of a friend of mine with a long history in mainly house music (they actually started to establish sexy house music in berlin in times where there was techno... and techno... and techno... in berlin), been in several locations, god bless the first one they had!!! the club 103 now in kreuzberg is going to close down... rest in peace and see you there...
yupp, it's a shame... but i guess they will continue in a new location, would not be the first time...maomao wrote:SubFunk wrote:and to top the off and on topic up.

what?!?!?
103 is closing? that's a shame..
I had some very good moments there, especially in the smaller room, seen so many great acts in a front of a few hundred people.
And I can't make it on Friday. shite!
