Where is the conclusive evidence proving that Osama Bin Laden is responsible for 9-11? How is it possible that the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve experts could have been surprised by the 'global financial crisis'? Why is Israel an ally that must be protected at all costs and Iran the new aggressor? What is the role of religion as a mechanism of control? Who stands to gain the most from creating global instability?
If you want to be proactive and use the internet, these questions are good starting points.

I'm sorry I started this thread. It is truly as boring as the out-of-touch "debate" was.

McCain didn't win anything in my opinion other than proving he is unable to look at or directly address his opponent and that he takes great liberties with the truth.
If anything you can argue that it was a tie. And considering foreign policy is supposed to be McCains strong point a tie really isn't giving him much.
I can't wait to see Palin and Biden debate. The only thing that is going to be funnier will be to watch whatever plan the McCain campaign is gong to hatch next to avoid letting that debate happen.

I watched the second half of it.
Russian aggression - bullshit
Iran is a grave threat - bullshit
We need more troops in Afghanistan - bullshit
It would be nice to hear some candidates who did not have to cater to the illusions that are mandatory to be on the political stage.
I think Obama spoke better and made more 'sense' (not that either of them made sense you understand), but I think McCain viscerally controlled the debate and with the average non political guy, may have the edge for that reason.
Now I need a shower to wash off the stream of bullshit they both were slinging.

you're right, we have absolutely no enemies and should completely disband our army entirely.
I don't condone the war in iraq, but by saying that those 3 subjects are just bullshit as a whole you're saying there is absolutely no shred of validity to the subjects. whether you think we should be at war is a different subject but there is certainly validity (at least SOME for gods sake) to those subjects that should be discussed.

would have liked to see more economists there.
just sayin'.
came out of a show and saw a bit about Russia and mccain talking about how georgia should be in nato (knowing full well that it will happen exactly *never*). cynical beyond belief. too bad obama sounds like a moderate right-winger at times these days.

the U.S should print that shit on flyers and air-drop them in the sovereign nations they're occupying, or paying to have occupied. pre AND post bombing.
Might take the sting out of that missing limb.

Georgia attacked South Ossetia and killed Russian soldiers and many civilians. Russia responded. Russia was not the aggressor. To call Russia the aggressor is BULLSHIT. (which both did) It was U.S. aggression backing Georgia to attack.
Iran is no threat to the U.S. There is no evidence that they are creating a nuclear weapon. They have no military capacity that is a threat to attack the U.S. They have no particular expansionist tendencies and have not attacked other countries. Plenty of countries are not our friends, and some can be called enemies, but that does not make them a threat. The context that Iran is making a nuclear bomb and that they are a serious threat is BULLSHIT.
Look at the historical context in Afghanistan. The british empire lost there. The soviet empire lost there, and the U.S. empire has lost there. We need to understand this and get the hell out of there. The notion of sending more troops there is bullshit. We do not have the money, we do not have the right and we wont win. (whatever that word means!)
Here's another one. The War On Terror. Anyone who utters this phrase is talking bullshit. Both candidates buy into this crap. Win the war on terror? Complete orwellian bullshit.

With Obama solidly supporting big corporations it is unlikely that he will do anything to stop the outsourcing of quality US jobs. Lots of scientists are working in service jobs cause their job got outsourced. Not much point to the education if you cannot get a job in your field.
