you have to admire cakewalks work ethic, they have always been like the little engine that could, opting to grow slowly instead of too quickly and still they have never been afraid of taking risk or learning from other developers
so they don't let pride get in the way of trying to give their customers what they want. The majority of what they do is quality, people still search out cakewalks old metro software for the mac that they made years ago. they work hard, listen to their customers, make quality, and are innovative as well as taking good ideas from others, but They still are not ableton Live.
I would not hesitate to drop cash on this unit if I was working out of a commercial studio it's just too well integrated with just about everything you need to get the job done and unlike other workstations they gave it tons of features but made it easy as fruit to use, I actualy got it just by watching the vid, usualy these type of things force you to have graduated from nasa flight school before you can use it.

2 years from now i'd pick one up for myself, it'll be a no brainer of a deal.
