That's right... under his plan you wouldn't be able to update that pentium 4, right? ha ha

You're so right, the republican "trickle down" process worked so well didn't it? Things are so much better than when Clinton was in office... the past 8 year were great and our booming economy will only get better and stronger with another 4 years of republican leadership!

Ha Ha!

Its funny... rank and file type conservative wannabes are the greatest source of entertainment.

Really keep it coming.. I need to laugh more. :D

people who have never read any Marx are out there calling Obama a Marxist. Good times. I wish he was, bro. Seriously, If he were the radical that McCain was painting him to be I'd vote for him. He's not even close.

BTW, what's up with the Republicans constantly talking about how they are for a smaller government, and keeping the government out of the peoples lives? I mean, these are the people who have overseen the largest growth of government in our lifetimes, eroded our civil liberties, and want to legislate moral issues (abortion, stem cells, gay marriage). Fuck all that noise.

PS, the almighty "free market" hasn't turned out to work so well, has it? Let me know how great capitalism is when you're spending $200 a pound for ground horse meat and mostly eating out of cans. Because that's where shit is headed without a serious turn towards socialism.

Don't get it twisted... its communism for the rich and capitalism for everyone else.

It really is funny (and f*cked up) if you think about it... they don't want to give "handouts" to the poor, but they'll give handouts to the rich for doing a bad job and crashing the economy.

Such a great system... 8)

What reasons do you have to vote republican? I'm asking honestly and not judgmentally.

quite priceless... Lots of moderate conservatives are excited about Obama cause they say he is the closest thing they have seen to Reagan since then. Which is closer to an accurate representation than most liberals have.

^ well, he's a lot like Reagan in his social positions. As for economics, he's far from the trickle down economics from the reagan era...he's closer to FDR and the New Deal.

perhaps so... although, I think that is more rhetoric than fact. His support of the bill to bail out rich wall street execs speaks rather loudly... He had all the political capital he needed to craft a different bill.

Anyway, it is not my position that he is that close to Reagan, just that there are a surprising number of conservatives who have some thoughts in that direction and are planning on voting Obama.

seriously, isn't this the exact behavior Ableton is asking people to chill with?

it's just a poor attempt at attention whoring.

where have you been in the last year? god knows you rant endlessly about politics here and you REALLY can't decide? then you shouldn't be talking politics here, it's getting you nowhere.

still, people can only post anti-Obama while not posting pro-McCain. OK, two sides of the same coin, but which side? at this point it's a joke to think that McCain will win, the best he can hope for is a dead Obama or Diebold to rescue him.

I can't wait for this all to be over, so tired of this election...

hmm...

interesting little nugget:

TPC projects the McCain plan would trim the uninsured by 1 million in 2009 and nearly 5 million by 2013, although their numbers would slowly rise thereafter because the tax credit would fail to keep pace with premiums (see figure). Obama would reduce the uninsured by 18 million in 2009 and 34 million by 2018. Even under the Obama plan, however, 34 million Americans would still lack insurance in 2018.
