no, that guy definitely works solo. he also did another cool project "Ammobox.' he used Reaktor and some coding to write his own software to go with timecoded vinyl, Ammobox is a trippy way to change up the samples used. holy fuck did I ever have a flame war with THAT guy, LOL! the guy's legit, he just has a day job too, so he can't always finish or fix his extra-curricular work.

for $100 you can get Ms Pinky, which is 2 timecode vinyl and a max patch that run on its own. it also comes with a max object with the hooks into the max timecode reader so you can make your own.

or get Traktor, Serato etc.

Ableton has a partnership with Serato announced, nobody knows what's up with it.

Ammobox is special because it lets you automate the audio being scratched,I don't know if the others can do that. at the core Ammobox is a Reaktor timecode vinyl detector.
