and i got a nice piece of hardware

I'm excited about the Push. Just a little bit dissapointed, as my local Retail shop was one of the first to Place a large order at the Nordic distributor who promised to ship it on the 5th.
Now they backed out yesterday and said they don't know when they will get it.

no in europe is way more expensive, check US stores: 300 USD new.

For downloads in my country:, Most of the time, except when the company in question has a physical presence (a local office to keep the salesmonkeys with work). Then they'll sometimes slap VAT on top of the US price. Or if they're Adobe, Autodesk or Microsoft, in which case they'll make everything from 33% to 100% more expensive ;)

Shopping software from the US can be wonderful. Hardware not so much. It'll be cheaper, but it's a mess if it breaks within the warranty period. And some countries have 2-3 years warranty mandated by law (5 on larger equipment), so any higher local prices may prove worth it.

Like others here I'll pass for now. When it reaches a better price point - $400 - $450. Same as with Maschine.

Absolutely stupid. This hardware was ready months ago. So they should have had plenty of time to Stock up properly for this date!

So this means they basically sold out already and on Heavy backorder!

In other Words.... my local retailer where I placed my order won't be getting any until summer?? /facepalm

My excitement for Push just got instantly killed. I didn't mind waiting a week or two, but 3 months? They are worse than Apple.

Can't wait to see those EBay prices.........

Would reeaally like Ableton to make the exact same thing but with APC style buttons for reduced size n extra portability

might change my mind when i try it..
