OK just did a further P20 test on 3.04

4 sends (2 reverbs )
(1 grain delay)
(1 redux)

20 tracks all looping with variable send amount no track inserts...

CPU hits 16% use in 3.0.4 in XP .

With no effects it hits around 6-7% max.

Boy am I gonna be havin' fun with Live - four days in and I'm hooked :D
My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....

Mmm, if I compare Raapies and Netchayev's figures, would mean that the 1.3 Powerbook and the Centrino 1.5 are almost on par ... nice optimization I'd say ...

The fan? not really noisy....I don't hear it. and raise the computer so it doesn't get hot that fast
But I do get happy to see those numbers... it feels good 8)
and BTW, when idle w/ the arrangement, cpu: 0% !!!!! unreal....

3 on both input and ouput, 6 ms in total. this is my 'safe' setting. rme is capable of 1.5 without adding cpu strain.

Test 2: Play the Live Demo Arrangement, what is your CPU level at when bar 17 comes in (i.e. after pressing play and when it hits the part of the song were all the tracks come in- bar 17)
