Live and a Microphone

I made this with Live and a microphone and a fifty foot microphone cable and a friend who was nice enough to walk around the house and make noises with stuff from around the house.

And this one uses the same microphone and the same friend and some drums and guitar and bass from down the basement, but still just a single microphone and Live.

By the way, everone else's stuff sounds great. I'm glad someone started this.

Hi,
I posted a music clip at
http://www.boysen.se/studio/ccl_draft1.mp3 (13 MB)
Echoplex solo improvisation with Stratocaster electric guitar in the ambient vibe established by Eric Satie some eighty years ago (as far as I know?)
It's a pre production draft for a track to be released on the album "Corporate Culture Loops" (Noden Recordings). Spoken word by David Cowley, Ashridge Management College UK, will be added in a couple of weeks. I might have to change the music to something different then, but we'll see about that.
The live guitar and Echoplex are mixed left/right. After the recording I fired up Ableton Live and "filled in" on the flow already breathing in the improvisation. Among those fill ins are some nice talking drum playing by my Swedish friend Eric Forsmark. I had recorded Eric at an earlier session, using Ableton Live as a recording and live looping platform.
Best wishes

I tried out the free downloads at amazon.com, so here's the webpage for that:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... e&n=468684
It's free to sign up and post songs, so you folks should try 'em out too.
This particular song is on our CD.
Another fun track

This one was a fun experiment, and features some creatures from a long time ago, from a galaxy far far away...

This is a live improvisation using AudioMulch [ with a lot of automation] freewired into Live, where I used Live as a "waveform synth" playing it through BomeMidi keyboard with my mouse ...lol ... hence the crumpy keys style ... one-shot-take ...
