I haven't liked any new musical style from the last 30 years whether emulating or not.

But for a few rare examples, my record collection stops at around 1978.

How d'ya like them apples?

Hey at least you're honest about your lack of perspective? I can't argue with that. :)

So to reiterate Tones Q: What's the true grit for you? It's easy to name things you don't like.

Strange place for a question mark. But anyway, yeah, whatever.

I can't argue with that.
I'm sure you'll try, with your usual jumbly grammar and slightly stilted vocabulary that is just beyond your ability to use correctly.

This isn't an "ad-homonym" attack by the way.

See above.

Do you need me to post audio examples or are you willing to take my word for it this time?

No it's not - that list is way longer.

it's dorky and sad but that was a GREAT station in that game, thanks for that one.

Dark Side - I'm more of an Animals fan 'cause I like my albums to change out of E minor every once in a while.

You wanna talk musical knowledge? Listen TD, when I need REAL knowledge about VST I know who to ask. That be you. When you wanna know something REAL about various artists and musical genres in contemporary rock related music WORLD over the last 40-50 years, it's you who better KNOW who to ask beeatch. I nearly put Animals but then the sheer ground-breaking, all-consuming, optimistic perfection of DSOTM got the better of me.

There are few better moments in pop than the bit at the end of "Sheep" where the rhythm guitar kicks in and the song explodes into a major key with tumbly drum fills, screaming Hammond chords and octaving pedalled bassline.

Makes me want to go out and punch a policeman.

As an album it is a bit dour, but the line "You... fucked up...old.. hag!" always makes me smile.

Now that is a fucking tune.

Her voice on that record is just incredible.

Eerily good. Almost unnaturally good.

On a par with "Goodbye to Love" I think.

Shame she couldn't get a few bacon sarnies down her neck at he crucial time.

And I wonder who her brother is shagging now she's no longer with us...
