It better not be “mini”. Steve was right when he said “fuck that” in his original iPad keynote. :x

And sorry for my previous outburst but you guys were being like the gynecologist on stage at the strip club. A lot of useful information but really killing the show for the audience. :x
 tell 'em beats.

i've been tl;dr-ing this shit for 5 pages. i'll keep my DAW business on my DAW and my overgrown phone business on my overgrown phone.

what i need to know is if there's an app that can identify an itchy rash and/or one that can find the nearest roach coach. it needs to be voice activated. thanks.

Grr.

I know, I know. We did kind of geek out there for a second.

Now back to our regularly scheduled unabashed Apple fanboy program.

Even as an Apple fanboy I’ll say there’s only one thing more annoying than an upscale mall on a Sunday afternoon. The Apple Store at an upscale mall on a Sunday afternoon…with it’s 75 potential customers milling about between the 150 Apple employees and just when you see an opening on an Apple device somebody else with their 3 kids swoops in and blocks you from using it while they do nothing of importantance (which, granted, I was planning to do). :x

I forgot I normally go on weekdays.

And do NOT go to an Apple store this weekend unless you have one of these things.

So in order to help me get rid of some bad habits and replace them with good habits I'm looking for a planner/todo list app. I've found a couple that will probably fit my needs but in reading some of the features they have I realized a feature they don't have that would be fan-fucking-tastic for us music types.

Drum roll.

The ability to wirelessly attach audio to tasks. <-That.

So say part of your planned schedule is to work on music and when you're all done with the session you bounce a copy of whatever you did, however rough, and attach it to that task for the day. Proof you did something. Warm feeling ensues.

Better yet, you'll be able to back and cross reference it later on. So you can listen to past mixes you did of the track, it could tell you the last time you worked on the track, and for those "schedule is important to getting anything done" people you could assign a due date to it that will tell you how many days until it's due (or past due :x ).

Also imagine how useful that would be for people who have multiple music projects going on.

Planners can already do most of what I'm talking about except the audio part.

SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DO THIS NOW! :!:

But for now I guess I'll just have to be happy with my "vacuum, dust, organize filing cabinet" checklist. :x

Friday is almost upon us.

Will LSZ cave in and get an iPad2?

Or will he resist?

I think he’ll resist initially.

The question is how long before he has too. I’ve already read more “[developer] to take full advantage of iPad 2” articles than I’m comfortable with. :x

What gives?
As time goes by Apple quits supporting older models on OS upgrades. I'm pretty sure that's what's happening here.

They already cut off the iPhone 3GS.

I dunno, I thought Apple was on the 4th gen. Touch. I don't own a Touch....drive too small/too dangerous to operate while driving.

When you’re rocking 3 Macs, an iPod, an iPhone, an iPad, and an Apple TV there’s maybe 5 minutes out of the entire year when your libraries, software, and apps are completely all up to date and in sync across all devices and computers at the same time. :x

I'm thinking of getting an iPad 2 WITHOUT the 3G and just bumping up my iPhone data plan to the $45 4gig tethering to use the iPad outside of my home WiFi.
nice to see you back
