It's not a showstopper, just annoying. I haven't had issues like this in 7-8 years, usually all my computer gear talks nicely to each other ;)
strange.. i dont have this problems.. but i choose my macbook because of the TI chipset...

This happened on my old MBP with the TI chipset too. There's quite a few of us on the RME forums with this issue, and they have admitted it a driver fault too.
