Can you 'record' the lfo to a sample, then mix to wav that part, then bounce that wav recording on a TRG pad? And you'll now have the one of 4 synth tracks available to use again?

You can resample in Eden too. Also the waveshaper on each Eden has an eq mode too.

what is its function?
is it just for show?
seems a very, very bad interface decision if it is.
My guess is the screenshot is of the chooser, as in choosing between the keyboard mode and drum machine mode for each track?
Just a guess.

I really love Eden. :)

Yeah, but still would be nice with eqs on the drum pads. Because the 3 filter groups are mostly in use for other tasks. No biggie, its great for sketching out compositions!

Ive had it less then a day, and im strugling to leave it.
Its truly a dream working with touch sequencers like this. Great hope for the future.

This is how far I got, before the events (notes and automation) limitations were reached. Its about a minute.

Parts can only hold 500 events, so if you've reached that limit, just split the part in half and you're good to go.

Video of an amazing looking and sounding synth app called Mugician for iPad

Seems like a very playable multitouch instrument.

its not just a four track, its multi track but you have to bounce anything more than four. you also get master eq and compressor.
i use it to sketch out ideas with my guitar quickly it has a very good function where you can audio copy from other apps which i also use with nlog

http://temporubato.com/

my favorite synth, and i can audio copy to fourtrack. there is a free version so i wont explain why i like it but you will need to full to save tracks.

NanoStudio = too much fun. (Can't wait for the flight to Hawaii tomorrow using Nanostudio, 'til my Touch battery dies!).

Never tried Beatmaker.

BeatMaker 2 and Nanostudio will both be very relevant in their own right. We still don't know all the details about BeatMaker 2 so we'll have to see when it drops this summer but knowing what the original one does, I think it's safe to say that BeatMaker will still play a role as the best drum step sequencer on iOS. Plus, Nanostudio is going to have audio copy/paste for the next update so the two should play along very well.

But Nanostudio is the first real DAW for iOS and I bet it's going to be the central creative hub for a lot of people.

Agreed, I still like BeatMaker, I just find NanoStudio a lot more fun to use. I'm more of a synth guy than an MPC guy, so that could be part of it too.
