Fellas. FELLAS!
UPDATE:
I went to check the order status on Apple’s site and not only does it say it’s scheduled to be delivered next Friday but it also let me change the shipping address.
Still nervous about it though.

I'm going to waltz into my local Apple store the first week of October and pick it up.
Also, I've got a grandfathered unlimited data plan that I need to make sure they don't fuck up.

this.
don't let them fuck around. ever. sick as the new iPhone is (for real), it would be worth keeping the older model to avoid loosing that plan.

If it's with Verizon, you WILL be forced to relinquish it. They're are NOT grandfathering in the unlimited data plan once you get a new phone.
In other news, I preordered iPhone 5 at Best Buy and they WILL have my phone on the 21st, guaranteed.

^ I saw that but thankfully I've got AT&T. Actually, AT&T are saying that Facetime calls WON'T be covered by the grandfathered unlimited data plans.
Thankfully, I don't use Facetime.

Does anyone?
I got my parents an iMac so we could stay in touch a little better (they're in Chicago), but my mom is so paranoid that I'll see if her living room is messy that they never want to use Facetime.

Along with iMessage best way to reach me when I work. Mostly I cant even hear the phones, or dont feel like picking up never liked Skype too much. Keep Facetime restricted to people I actually like to see. Shifting from device to device is great, I might start on MBP then decide to take proper break, switch to iPad and continuing conversation go to get espresso or cook something.

Interesting. For me it was one of those things that was neat for about 5 minutes, then I never used it again.

Facetime is my first choice, similarly for many of my friends and people I work with. The past century device -mobile phone is used only when facetime is not available. Regular phone used only for transcontinental calls but If LTE works fine will drop DSL and landline phone altogether.

If T-Mobile got in the game I'd kind of have a boner for it. What's the deal?

Video quality, camera swap - that I use frequently, easier to use, more reliable, switching between devices-read previous posts- no spam requests (and additionally no Samsung pc users by default) and useless people i gave my skype name and regreted doing it.

I find Skype quality on the iPhone4 to be EASILY as good (or shitty, lol) as Facetime. There's absolutely NOTHING magical about a Facetime connection. The codecs in the app are basically the same, and you're purely at the mercy of:
a. Your router connection quality.
b. Internet bandwidth quality.
