also, a little tip, download the elektron C6 app here:-
http://www.elektron.se/support.php
it's a sysex send/receive program for osx and pc and works a sh*tload quicker than midiox.
try sending the sysex with this program. i couldn't get bcrfedit to send to the bcr either, but this worked fine. strangely, the editing software from behringer worked fine for me as well. midiox also sends sysex and worked well, but c6 sends MUCH faster.

I can't figure out what to d/l from all of the mess in there (-:
Anyone willing to link to the spesific file I need?
Namihei,
On your page (
http://www.geocities.jp/mackicrokontrol ... live5.html )
the link for instruction on how to save the preset, in case BCEdit doesn't work, doesn't work (-:
Can you relink, please?
What would be the best method to control the instruments and effects in Live with minimal remaping?
thanks!

you do not need behringers bcr edit to get the file to the bcr and bear in mind that it is easy enough to edit using the unit itself.
I cannot get the java app working in os x.
to get the file in do this--
once you have the preset sysex file you need for mackie emulation.(from the link in this thread, MCE3live.syx you are looking for i think)
have the bcr set up in usb 1 mode connected by usb(obviously)
load the sysex file to the sysex librarian program you have
find an empty or unwanted preset slot
press store, the button will flash
begin sending the sysex file from the computer using the librarian program
if the bcr is receiving some data the display will show a rotating blink
the librarian will also show the status of the dump progress
when the dump is finished the display on the bcr should return to showing the preset no.
and that should be it, if not, try again, it won't do any harm, took me a good few tries.
mackie emulation mode. done.

Thanks, it worked.
Well, I can see that some controllers control Operator. However, this only apply to 1 instance of it.
Is there a way to control more?
Is there a way to make changes to the controls myself?

Sorry I'm lost.
I have BCR2000 + BCF2000 working with BCEDIT no problem.
I've been trying to follow the tutorial to emulate the Mackie Control on the BCR but I can't get anything to work.
I see people referring to MCE3live.syx but I can't find this file anywhere.
All I could find was thisfile : MCE3Live.BCR2000.bc (which I put in the same folder as BC Edit)
Only, the file I have won't be read as a sysex file by BC Edit or Midi Ox.
Am am missing something?

I have a stupid question about this...Finally got it all up and running, and I must say this is the most fun I have had with the melding of hardware and software in a long time....
But, I can't seem to figure one thing out. When I select a plug-in on a track, and use the flip button, then huskervu switches to show the volumes. I am assuming I am doing something wrong, but I would love to be able to use the flip button to have the LED encoder controlling the plug-in, and also to see the parameter in huskervu, is this possible?
Thanks in advance,
You guys rock.

Does anyone know if there is an alternative to Midi Yoke for PC users?
Cheers,
Tim

I don't use either of them, if I can't do it in Live I don't know Live well enough. BUT you can do some seriously trick setups with those programs. I wonder if this is being considered for 6.0...

DaShit Is Here Clik Me
you'll find sysex files in that folder to store presets that overwrite the BCR's system buttons (which have been overwritten) they are numbered
