Im really looking forward to creating a pattern sequancer, thanks again for a great idea, will make my controller truely unique.

Does mean ill have to send midi clock data to pocketPC(currently no need), should keep me busy for a while

Ive decided on 2 modes for my sequancer, block mode(image above) and envelope mode (image below).

Just imagine 1000's of envelopes on a midi controller, sweet! :)

I might even create about 4 different envelopes for each control, so can switch between them.

Ive made the menu hideable so can have extra room for lfo feature(not shown).

Ive complete the envelope editor, works sweet. Does not play back the envelope yet but will do in a few days.

My envelope editor is now working great, I have zoom, choose length of envelope, loop/once toggle option and more. Can also choose the start and end points of the loop.

It plays perfect envelopes every time. The way I have it going is when you draw out the envelope on the pocketPC it sends the data to my desktop transeiver application which stores it in memory. Then when you want to play an envelope the pocketPC sends a message to desktop application to play out the envelope it has stored in memory based on the incoming MIDI clock from Ableton. Works great every time.

The first way I had it was the desktop transeiver application worked out the bpm and sent this value to pocketPC. The pocketPC then created it's own MIDI clock and based the envelope on that. The pocketPC then sent out the envelope to the desktop application which was then sent to ableton.
I didnt work too well, i fact it was terrible. The latancy and random delay meant the envelopes looked bad. Ableton to desktop app to pocketPC then back to desktop app then to ableton works bad.

I had to make over 3000 edits to my app to fit the envelope stuff but it's worth it.
:)

Any chance of multiple selectable pages of labelled clip/scene launch buttons?

What I have is 3 pages, each containing 8 * 40 buttons and 8 buttons to stop clips per page.

I can't increase it any more as i have just about reached the limits of MIDI which is 127 controls * 16 channels.

Those that I have left I wish to keep for any modifications I would like to make in the future.

Ive almost completed the Envelope editor.
Ive created a new idea in the world of MIDI controllers - Merging Envelopes.

Since I have 4 envelopes per control I thought it would be a good idea to be able to merge them, eg merge envelope 1 with envelope 2 gives me "Envelope 1 + 2". Works well and gives your about 40 combinations of envelopes per control as you can merge up to 4. I have got pic's showing some of the resulting waveforms but not got them on me to show at this time.
The resulting sounds produced are quite good. :D
