I learn something new everyday

our past track record with Africa in general has been the idea that Africa has nothing to offer the west

But my next question is, so what's China got to gain from all of this? they don't strike me as being as Oil hungry as us?

They are MAJORLY oil hungry in China.

That country is advancing faster than ever.... but the thing holding them back is they can't get enough oil.

China has oil contracts with Sudan today. But, if the UN passes sanctions against Sudan over Darfur, then China's oil supplies from that country will by stopped. So, China loses oil. But they need oil badly. So.... they therefore block all attempts in the Security Counsil to help Darfur.... out of self-interest.

Seriously though, I post because I want people who read and post on this forum to realize that by apologizing for Jihadists, blaming the West and making excuses, they're enabling violence. If even one person comes to his senses, then perhaps he'll stop enabling violence by offering a quasi-moral shield for religious extremist murder. The more this misguided anti-US "consensus of the left" grows, the harder it will be to gather the will to defend our civilization when the real crunch comes. I feel like the little dutch boy trying to save his city by sticking his finger in the dyke; I'm trying to stop a deluge of willful, suicidal ignorance. It gets fatiguing, but unlike many of my peers in Western society, I will never give up. Never.

That is a big problem right now. Look at the recent terror plots stopped in the UK. They were local grown terrorists, who had never been to training camps in the middle east. It's one thing to know about terrorists who are grown out of camps in Afghanistan. But to think they are now growing amongst us at home.... THAT is unsettling.

How is this happening? It's through the charged rhetoric of the left, which is flowing so freely through the press and the internet. The level of this propaganda has increased and is now appealing to people outside of the middle east. THAT is scary.

the terror plots in the uk were bullshit, most people here knew that, you could see through it straight away. It was almost laughable.

the propaganda you talk of from the left is simply people wanting the truth rather than being told things like a war is for weapons of mass destruction when really all it was for was to make a lot of money for a handful of people. People are sick of corrupt politics, left and right.
