Someone said they hadn't felt the need to upgrade to 6 until this - I know what you mean, this is the first time I feel I'm really taking advantage of the new features.

+1 for sticky!
I hear ya Rozling, racks is what made me upgrade too.

Oh crap, my files host just went all "Web 2.0" and fucked up all my files. Let me try reuploading somewhere else.

Grab the step sequencer HERE

This new one doesn't come with manual, you just mute steps with the chain mute buttons in "Steps" and select pitch, velocity and length in the plugs in each chain. The Scale plug at the end of each chain is for easy pattern transposing.

This new one also comes set up to store 8 patterns in a Rack. Use the chain selector in the outer rack to select pattern.

If they're not working, I'll reupload my other 2 racks.

is there anyway to make an impulse slots fade by making changing the velocity of the incoming hit?

Nice rack, simple yet effective.

Where is the chain selector to change patterns?

If you click the "Chain" button in the outer rack (labeled "16 Step Seq"), you'll see the Chain Select Ruler.

The red marker on top indicates which pattern is active. Pattern 1 goes from 1 to 15, pattern 2 from 16 to 31, and so on.

You can also midi map the Chain ruler to a knob or a macro knob to use it to select the pattern.

here you can see how it's mapped to a controller, and that Pattern 5 is the only one active

I've noticed that some of the links on the first post go to YouSendIt or other temporary hosting sites. Is there anywhere these could be hosted?

Hi,

We can't host these files for now, sorry about that. But I'm sure some forumer(s) would be happy to help if asked politely :)
