You can call it whatever you want, but it isn't horseshit until you prove it otherwise. You have NOT addressed the core of the arguments AT ALL, all you have done is attempt to continually "out" me as a racist in order to fulfill your need to attack me personally as a means of validating your position. Its a low class, dishonest, and rationally invalid tactic that only serves to undermine any point you may be trying to make.
who the fuck do you think you are? You cry ad hominem out of one side of your mouth while intimating that my views are meaningless because i live in Maine with the other. You haven't met any of my real arguments against your points at all throughout this entire bullshit fiasco. I'm done. I have other shit to do.

and now for a much shorter example, this whole thing is like the time when black kids had to have soldiers
escort them to school, now the folks against affirmative action would complain that they couldn't see the black board cause the soldiers were blocking the view in class...weeeeeeLLLLLLL if the black kids in that class didn't need a military escort just to go to freakin school there wouldn't be soldiers in the room now woud there? otherwise those kids would have been lunch meat. now who in their right mind would call those soldiers an act of 'reverse racism'
these people are not thugs

yeah man some of our brothers think this was back in the caveman times

they don't understand that it was only the begining of many beginnings we have a long way to go. There is a saying that you can only judge where we're at by looking at the lowest common denominator of society, if prison life is anything to go by then we have quite a ways to go.

and issues such as when discrimination is coming from white people in positions of power and authourity are something you seem to keep sidestepping.
there is an argument that places racism in the hands of institutions and power, which are all overwhelmingly white.
i've tried to show how there is the micro kind of predjudice, which everyone has, and then the macro institutionalised racism which is overwhelmingly coming from white culture. this is the type which aa is trying to balance, and it has a place in a society that doesnt even see its own bullshit prejudices.
plus how often is a minority subject to resentment, for having a job which "a white person should have got" whether or not that is the reality. like i said before it cuts both ways, and to ignore these situations is to prove your own prejudice.
I have to say I've met just as many black bigots as I have white ones. You argue as if blacks are not racist and only all the other races are racist. Thats bull crap and playing race card. And the dreadlock job thing c'mon. If a person of any race had long heavy metal hair and was applying for a job that asked for a clean cut looking individual they would get turned down just as quick as you with dreadlocks.
@chang i never said that black people couldn't be racist and it was "everyone else." i dont know what a race card is. i said that black racism comes from a position of defence. i think the same for all minorities actually. my british jamaican heritage can back this up a hundred times over. the west indians which came to england loved the idea of the "colonial motherland", they came here to work, with no idea that their race would cause such outrage amongst white britons. they got abuse from white people, and became more insular and agressive to white eople as a result.
and dreadlocks are a respectable hairstyle; there's not one job a person with clean, presentable dreads could not do, and having them should not reflect on their worthiness for said job. they can be neat and tidy. i dont know what you mean by heavy metal hair, and what does it have to do with mine? i think your answer shows EXACTLY WHY AA IS NECESSARY. your preconceptions and swiftness to compare me with someone folowing a fashion are ridiculous. dreads are a natural hairstyle for afro hair; and mine are damned smart. you are playing the reverse race card.

in britain its called equal oppurtunities, and i think its a lot better than the US version. its there for women, the disabled, minorities, and people with other social disadvantages.
@chang i find it wierd that you can put up that graph bout education and race, and not see any link between that and some of the resoning i got into earlier.... all the african diaspora are living in a world that knows in its bones their inferiority. and yes there is a big difference between africans and their diasporic brothers and sisters, and no small part of it is that.

I think I know what you are saying but just incase could you clarify the position of defense cause that sounds like something I can't agree with, I mean the definition of racism is judging someone based on their race if one defends themself by hating others based on their race then that's no defense thats racism for instance the american slaves would never have gotten freedom without thier non-racist white brothers and sisters so broadstroking white people makes no sense since all of them are not racist but I think that is not what you are saying based on some things you said earlier i just wanted to put that out there

No I haven't. I didn't spend a lot of time on it because the law ALREADY prevents one from discrimination based on race or ethnicity. That shit is already in place, so what is there to discuss about it? What I object to is going a step further and establishing racist institutions, policies, and cultural paradigms that benefit certain races or ethnicities over others as some kind of band aid for the racism of the past. Its a self defeating and hypocritical approach that doesnt even help the problem at all. Once you have the law there to protect against baseless discrimination, its up to culture to mend itself over time. Creating institutions that specifically serve to create race distinctions as part of its fundamental policy only serve to maintain racial separation and discrimination.

no Android it's not up to the culture to mend itself over time, we're talking about broken laws here that we agree have already been established, if you want affirmative action to be stopped right now this minute
then you should want those laws already on the books to be enforced right now this minute, not mending itself over some bullshit amount of time, c'mon brother lets be straight about this!!

Yes it is up to culture to mend itself. Its a cultural problem at its heart so the solution will have to be a cultural one. Even law is a just an extension of culture. And I do want the laws (the FAIR laws) to be fairly enforced right now, did I mention somewhere that I didnt? You want some kind of magic quick fix to a psychological and cultural problem that has existed as long as there have been different cultures, and its not going to happen. Especially if your solution to the problem is to create policies that benefit certain races over other ones based solely on their race. Its the same problem as before only you flipped it in a half assed attempt to balance it out. The real solution is to establish legal equality and protections against baseless discrimination, mix everyone up, and let different cultures bleed together until the distinctions between them even out. That takes time.
