When i unfold spectrum (so it's covering maybe a third of a 1920x1080 display) the display gets really laggy when moving the mouse pointer over it. Can anyone confirm this (on XP here)? Or did Nvidia again screw up their crappy driver...

Something else...Has it always been so easy to overload the "Analog" synth? Simple sine wave, Env<Vel set to 8, all 3 level controls set to 0dB.

I can reproduce this in 8.1.1 as well, so it isn't new.

Best,

FWIW, I can't reproduce the problem here on either 8.1.1 or 8.1.3b1. I'm using an Nvidia Quadro FX 570 video card on Windows XP SP3 with version 197.03 of their driver software.

GeForce 7300 GS at 1680 x 1050 here on XP SP2 with Live 8.1.1

If I unfold Spectrum to about half, I see the lag when I move the mouse, however if I don't point at it or I stop moving the mouse all goes back to normal.

Also worthy of note: this isn't near as bad if I have the file browser open.

1. Audio locked in an endless loop when trying to preview a latin percussion clip
2. Several crashes where live just disappears, audio stops, force quit doesn't work. Recover the set now works though which is good. This crash also happened in Live 8.1.1 and my 7.0.10 (which was rock solid)

XP sp2
profire 2626
AMD 5600
2 gig ram, PSP SQUAD EQ;s, Superior 2, PSP Old Timer, Altiverb 5.
I would check your CPU temp - sounds like it might be an overheating issue.

Hey Ableton,

Please release this update NOW.
It is impossible to create perfect version of software that will satisfy all users anyway ;)
RC looks, behaves and sounds good to most.
Please release the "beast" now...
