Would be interested in this as well!peez wrote:Anyone using IK Multimedia T-Racks3? Want to know if they still cause crashes in 8.13!?
Ableton dev's please get it worked out with IKM.
Thanks, I can reproduce this on Win 7, but also with an nvidia card.housemusiclover wrote:When i unfold spectrum (so it's covering maybe a third of a 1920x1080 display) the display gets really laggy when moving the mouse pointer over it. Can anyone confirm this (on XP here)? Or did Nvidia again screw up their crappy driver...

FWIW, I can't reproduce the problem here on either 8.1.1 or 8.1.3b1. I'm using an Nvidia Quadro FX 570 video card on Windows XP SP3 with version 197.03 of their driver software.housemusiclover wrote:When i unfold spectrum (so it's covering maybe a third of a 1920x1080 display) the display gets really laggy when moving the mouse pointer over it. I would check your CPU temp - sounds like it might be an overheating issue.foetus666 wrote:Installed last release canididate last night. No more crashes when loading in some of lives big session drum kits which was an improvementRan some cpu and memory heavy session and it held up ok. Had about 5 crashes though. 2nd one is a new phenomenon on my machine.
1. Audio locked in an endless loop when trying to preview a latin percussion clip
2. Several crashes where live just disappears, audio stops, force quit doesn't work. Recover the set now works though which is good. This crash also happened in Live 8.1.1 and my 7.0.10 (which was rock solid)
