You know what app the iPad needs? Shut up. I'm going to tell you.
A general DAW synced EQ app that has feedback with a spectrum analyzer appearing in the same box as the EQ adjustments a la Logic.
And it gets better. You can instantly select any track you want including the master track. Have the ability to show up to 4 tracks EQ stacked on top of each other. For spectrum analysis purposes be able to combine as many tracks totaled as you want in a single window.
Visualize this:
4 EQ track windows stacked on top of each other. The bottom window kick drum with EQ adjustments and spectrum analyzer bouncing around, next window up bass with the same, next window up a string pad with the same, and the top window a spectrum analyzer combining the 3 (I realize this part would be exceedingly difficult because the DAW would also have to somehow combine just the 3 tracks you are working with and not the total song, but shut up!). All 4 boxes allow you to instantly switch to a track of your choosing and on the right has a fader, mute button, and solo button.
You could fiddle around with EQ and levels leaning way back in your chair or pacing around the room cause your room sucks and there's no sweet spot so why bother sitting in a single location that lies to your ears.
This app needs to be made and I would pay for such an app.
