I've decided to listen your your suggestion, others have mentioned it too so heres what I have came up with:
On the Trrigger-Pad pages you can view either number or names and choose the colors of the buttons too.

Heres a screenshot of a wave form produced by the envelope player, i've included Quantization feature so can launch multiple envilopes before the start of a beat.
The image below shows 2 envelopes and a third which is the combination of the 2. You can merge up to 4 envelopes per control.

Seems a pretty good time line to me, ive spent about 3 months on it part time, written about 40,000 lines of code or more so another 3 months and should be sorted.

The trigger pad feature looks great, especially if the buttons can be labelled! Can you have multiple pages of trigger pads, with easy access to the different pages?
Now if I can only get a PDA to talk MIDI to my Mac...

Yea, just press menu and menu pops up(not shown here), then click on either T1, T2 or T3.

You might want to keep it and use 2 side by side or let a friend jam along with you.

owww yes sweet.
what about updates to the controls on the pda if the ableton control changes (for example by mouse). is the pda going to be updated with the new control setting. just like a bcr2000 works? or does this app only send midi, which is also cool

Yes it has midi-in and works great.
