I was kind of hoping the x / y and a couple of buttons controlled the mouse; but i still love this app.

does anyone have this working on mac properly?
can you please post screenshot or something. i read this thread and manual, but iam having trouble. sometimes mackie works without the pads, sometimes the pads work without the mackie, and i cant get the xy or knobs working.thanks

I've been using PK[squared] for about a week and I like it. I've read thru the PK[squared] threads and have a couple of comments on the posts:

"the x axis works, but the y axis is always mapped to ch-1/PB"

I don't seem to be getting pitch bend from the y-axis. Nothing shows up in midi map mode, but the Sampler modulation page shows foot control input.

Also, someone did not care for the undo/redo buttons (which I can understand), but I find them useful when in overdub mode.

Related, someone mentioned that the momentary buttons do not work well with the overdub switch. This is true, but actually if you hit undo after whatever button you assign to overdub, the overdub switch is turned back on and stays on.

I got this app working great except if i twist the knobs or play around with the xy pad it freezes the Squared app.
This means i have to restart PK, Squared and Live which isn't really good for live performance.
Anyone have clues how to proceed to overcome this problem?
Also Squared doesn't work with my Xstation connected, does this also happen with other usb audio interfaces?

I'm on XP.

If we haven't shared the source files yet I will, soon enough.

+1 for making the pads go in the right order though

Notes To Host => from PK[squared]1
Notes From Host => to PK[squared] 2
From PadKontrol 1 Port A => padKONTROL PORT A

In the MIDI setup menu of PKsquared, do I click on Autosetup? Should all ports be "On"

hi,
would love to get some help using this app, for inputs and outputs I have USB audio device, USB audio device[1] and USB audio device [2]. Nothing else. Even with the latest drivers from KOrg for padkontrol.
There is no padkontrol CTRL or pk [squared]1 , or anythibg else.
Any help would be appreciated.
