I'm not trying to make you out as some asshole, it's one thread, that's all. That was the entire point. In this one thread, you turned into b0unce and TD rolled into one..... which is some sort of compliment or insult depending on what time of day you're talking to those fuckers!

I'm quite certain I would get along just fine with you IRL, politics is VERY important to me, but it's not a determination of whether someone is interesting or not, and beyond ethics, please, just don't bore me! That's why I don't get people ragging on b0unce, LM, Evilevilevil, and TITBAG? At least they're entertaining.

On that note, considering the douchebags running around trying to guess TITBAGs identity, I think he's either an employee of Ableton incognito, or that audio engineer guy with the gear*** name who posted that big thread about Manly Dangerous Busses being useless.
Oh no worries at all, I'm giggling through this stuff and not so serious about my arm-chair politics other than my only mantra "keep the McBush cabal away from 8 more years". Besides, I've got this dry style of writing that doesn't serve my actual personality too well. Probably the no college. As far as the Abe's brat pack, I would probably never hang here without them although they could take it easy on a few blokes, but I really think everybody meets here to blow steam mostly.

cheers
:)

omg, that was painful to watch! I don't think I could take 4 years of her bullshit...she has insight about Russian relations because you can see Russia from parts of Alaska?! I wish I could say this should be an easy landslide for Obama....

I could not finish the whole thing... her voice is too nauseating.

It should be an easy landslide. Should have been 4 years ago too.

If the votes in the country were honestly counted, it would be an easy Obama victory

The republicans have significant control over electronic voting machines and have also been shamelessly manipulating who can vote in key states.

The voting stuff is frustrating. Republicans fix the vote, which affects the outcome, get caught, go to jail (not for long and with a healthy deposit when the get out) but the outcome of the election stands. SO they know they can rig the vote and even if caught, the result stands.

Also, the Dems just don't get it. They are getting kicked left and right and don't know how to fight back. Obama thinks that being polite, speaking well, and engaging in thoughtful dialog will win the day. Meanwhile the Republicans have stolen his change theme right out from under him, stolen his Iraq agenda, and Obama is left mouthing that Bush's surge strategy was “successful beyond his wildest dreams.”

McCain will win, but not because of the way the votes are counted.

I need no further evidence than this thread. Not one McCain/Palin supporter has posted, yet look at the shit fight it's become.

The fact is the "left" are pretty evenly split between dems and people who are convinced the whole system is so corrupt they'll either vote for an independant or are too disillusioned to vote at all. The "right" just vote republican.

There are very few republican musicians in this forum and in my experience in real life. Quite a few libertarians, but republicans tend to be conservative and not creative types. Yes, that's a stereotype, but it hold true.

IMO the reason the republicans might get elected is the same as it ever was, the media (made up of fat cats), feels that the public has accepted a republican as president (always good for fat cats), and starts spinning his/her/it in a positive light. Last election was a great example of that, I saw Time and Newsweek with HUGE, really quite elegant pictures of GWB with headers about him being a pillar of strength etc. and Kerry branded a flip flopper.....

The media decides the elections in the USA, and the media are made up of rich conservative people. Rush Limbaugh and Co. complaining about liberal media etc. on nationwide networks with stations in every city in the states practically. It's actually pretty funny in a sad sort of way if you think about it.

Well, fucking A....I'm gonna vote for Obama. Cynicism aside, I don't want these motherfuckers in office, that's for sure. I don't think Obama is all that great, but him winning would mean something great for this country.

cynicism aside ?

lol

that's quite a supposition to kick-start a "I'mma vote Obomba way" blurb.

Although, kudos for admitting you don't really think Obomba is all that great, despite the fact you'll vote for him. That took some cojones - considering you'd prefer to be seen as someone in possession of more than one braincell.

I knew you'd be happy about it, b. Don't worry, there's still time for me to flipflop some more before it's all done.
