Agree... let's stay in permanent beta forever

Hi folks,

We have no intention to continue the beta forever.

But we want to make sure that the general consensus on this version is that it really is an improvement before we call it an official release.

Any idea when the terrible "when moving over a 3th party gui, adjusting freq settings will be reset after releasing mouse key bug" will be fixed?
Have this problem with vocengo and Uad cambridge, and prolly a lot of others.

I hope not.

But more importantly, if the RC is working for you, there's no reason not to simply use it for your own production work. Sets created in this RC WILL open in future versions of Live.

I'm gettin on it. 8.09 worked nice for me. 8.1.1...problems. so 8.1.3 it is.

I'm busy reinstalling EVERYTHING from scratch (Nothing to do with Live, just a long overdue Windows once-a year strategy system always runs better after that)
The RC behaves pretty good, a bit slow loading, abit sluggish but I know there's a much more improved version in the pipeline I say release it, it works here.

I have also reported this with you guys, talked to UA and they supposedly talked to Ableton. With cambridge it happens because initially no VST parameters are assigned yet. If you assign those it will all be good. Still a minor bug though. Here:

By the way the RC says "This beta will expire 28 March" bit sloppy...

do it once,, make an image.. save loads of time..

Welease Wive 8.1.3

I've been using Live a lot the last few days, and it's been working fine for me. Very happy, it's already shaping up to be a gig-filled season.

That is the right way to go!!?? not some premature beta



It looks about the same as before. It works for some and not for others. Anyone who is using lots of plugins and riding the program hard having good results?

I'll be honest I just don't feel like jumping in until I know how deep it is. Seeing that the massive issue still exists is somewhat disconcerning.

I'll wait until the "official" Beta is released
