how is the NS for plucking?stringtapper wrote:Mmmm, 7-string Smith, yummy.D K wrote:oh yeah, the ns...stringtapper wrote: Nice NS, I have the same model. And the same KRKs!
only eub that i've found with a quality arco sound.
the krk's handle it like a champ, too.
ok, big nerd pic, as i notice yer name is string tapper.
i miss this bass so much, had to sell it for my condo down payment:
I tapped on a 6-string for a few years until I finally made the plunge to Chapman Stick. My newest pet:
And some NS at an Extension Chords show for fun:
Ok I'll post some proper studio pics when I have time.
I think it's great, not the same kind of resistance you get from the real thing but it never will be. The tone makes up for that, you can get some serious growl out of that thing, and as DK said it has a great arco sound as well.bosonHavoc wrote: how is the NS for plucking?
the Emenance is the only EUB that i've ever played that i have liked
unfortunately my financial life has been kicking my ass and i havn't been able to buy it yet.
every eub i've ever touched except the emenance has either felt like a fretless bass on a stick or sounded like shit.. or both
Thanks, and yes it's great fun, although we change the setup/lineup all the time. That's actually at one of the band member's bars in Cedar Park called The Dig Pub. Check it out sometime, all American micro-brewed beers on tap. I'll give a heads up next time we play there.bosonHavoc wrote: edit
great set up by the way.. looks like fun
Speaking of moving in with the GF. Don't you ever want to make music in your room again???
In our new flat in my parents house i have a "men's room" for my studio, musician-friends visit, learning and smokingjesQuick wrote:Speaking of moving in with the GF. Don't you ever want to make music in your room again???![]()
But seriously - Gongratulations and everything - You guys need to set up some ground rules. At least if your girl's not into making music and you make music where you live. Making music can take a lot of time and be a 'lonely' job. Your partner can easily feel lonely too...
feel free to come by and work/ jam if we are ever in dc at the same time3dot... wrote:
