Nice NS, I have the same model. And the same KRKs!
oh yeah, the ns...
only eub that i've found with a quality arco sound.
the krk's handle it like a champ, too.
ok, big nerd pic, as i notice yer name is string tapper.
i miss this bass so much, had to sell it for my condo down payment:

Mmmm, 7-string Smith, yummy.
I tapped on a 6-string for a few years until I finally made the plunge to Chapman Stick. My newest pet:
And some NS at an Extension Chords show for fun:
Ok I'll post some proper studio pics when I have time.
how is the NS for plucking?
the Emenance is the only EUB that i've ever played that i have liked
unfortunately my financial life has been kicking my ass and i havn't been able to buy it yet.
every eub i've ever touched except the emenance has either felt like a fretless bass on a stick or sounded like shit.. or both
edit
great set up by the way.. looks like fun

I think it's great, not the same kind of resistance you get from the real thing but it never will be. The tone makes up for that, you can get some serious growl out of that thing, and as DK said it has a great arco sound as well.

Thanks, and yes it's great fun, although we change the setup/lineup all the time. That's actually at one of the band member's bars in Cedar Park called The Dig Pub. Check it out sometime, all American micro-brewed beers on tap. I'll give a heads up next time we play there.

Speaking of moving in with the GF. Don't you ever want to make music in your room again???
But seriously - Gongratulations and everything - You guys need to set up some ground rules. At least if your girl's not into making music and you make music where you live. Making music can take a lot of time and be a 'lonely' job. Your partner can easily feel lonely too...

In our new flat in my parents house i have a "men's room" for my studio, musician-friends visit, learning and smoking

. Sure, my GF don't shares my interest for music, but she also has a lot of other interests -sure, woman's interests, hanging around with her sister and girlfriends and at her mother's place or doing anything with her son, so I have enough time for music and other interests and some education.
Greetings to Copenhagen, drink a coffee for me in the nice nyhavn next to ole hansens tattoo studio , my prefered place in your city for a break.

D K - What kinds of things do you use the analog console for in your studio?

DUB mixing, and different flavours of pre amps.
i love to run up to 16 channels out of live and to go for it.
that carvin has disgustingly beautiful low end when you use those built in graphs...
you can freely insert any of them into any channel, or buss through them.
that desk has direct outs on every channel, which are also post fader/ post eq, you can really twist it up...
it has a beautiful, old school sound, much like in the old jamaican dub records.
the panasonic at the studio is mostly for the pres, very smooth and tight, with nice eq.

Sounds fun. I've been reading up on mixers a lot lately. I don't need them all the time, that's for sure. But a couple times a year something pops up and I find myself in a spot where I needed one. Of the stuff that's available today, I zeroed in on the Soundcraft GB2R12:
http://www.soundcraft.com/products/product.aspx?pid=151
Seems like it would be a nice one to have around.
When I was growing up for some reason I started receiving the Carvin catalog in the mail at a young age. I used to read that thing over and over. I was awed by their gear. Hmmm. Maybe that's one of the reasons I have such a deep addiction...

so, this is the studiospace we share with two other musicians, two blocks away from the razzmatazz club, with roofterrace, view towards the sea, 5 minutes from the next beach:
