So , the people watching 2hour long HD movies on their phone screens were annoyed mainly at their display aspect ratio?

What is this ... a cinema for ants?

And that’s what makes competitor phones with even bigger screens that much more awesome. It’s like being at an IMAX theater. :x

As far as Jobs being against a larger screen, he was also originally against third party developers making apps for the iPhone and having an app store. I think it’s fair to say it was a win for Apple, developers, and users when he reversed that decision and is probably the #1 reason Apple is so successful today. Jobs did change his mind from time to time, even changing some things back after Apple disabled the function (mute/orientation lock switch on idevices).

Note to bulk tech thieves and those who purchase from them: Might want to stay away from devices with built-in GPS and a tracking system that is already widely used by law enforcement to track down legitimately purchased stolen devices.

But if Apple’s current maps app is part of the system then you’ll probably be safe since it most likely shows your iPhone is in the middle of a lake in a different country. :x

Nice. Mine's still in the box until I get home.

Apple never labels their shipping boxes in any way that it's from Apple but the UPS guy knew exactly what it was and said he had about 25 more to deliver.

Got several SIM failure and Invalid SIM messages. Rebooting the iPhone fixed it and I hope it was just some early warm up bugs because I really don't want to go to an Apple store or AT&T store to replace it. :x

I have over a half dozen old idevice sync/power cables, several setup in my room and several in my computer and overnight bags. I have to admit having just 1 of the new cables is making me nervous, but there’s a 3-4 week shipping time for ordering them on the Apple site and I’m sure as fuck not going to an Apple store in the next couple of weeks. :x
