Well, I'm sure thing will calm down once we all agree to direct all premature beta-inquiries to the Steinberg Sales Team!dom wrote:
guess who gets the most mails after faked beta announces in the forum:
a) the pope
b) steinberg sales team
c) ableton support
choose to your liking. but i'm sure all 3 have better things to do than calming down the resulting panic
Live 5 Announcement
*thx for the article braj...interesting read...the possiblities for military use is endless
Reportedly there are 13 days left until the release of Live 5..
If the beta test hasn't been released yet then i feel like the release date for the final version will either be pushed back.....or their final version release will be a premature version and everyone will in turn basically be beta testers.

Nah, that's not the Ableton way - that's the whole reason we haven't seen the beta yet, they're ironing out as many bugs as possible before we get it. Ableton most definitely does not equal Gates! These guys really do "think different" - and we all benefit.mobonix wrote:their final version release will be a premature version and everyone will in turn basically be beta testers.

in new features, I read "edition of multiple clips". it's ok, but is it simultanous edition of all selected clips, or, more intresting, ghosted clips, I mean clips that are just an instance of the same clip, and editing one of the instance edit all the instance, which could be very usefull. forgive my poor english...
