Hey barcode, sage advice. I'm going to try out that smoothie, I drink the silk chocolate soy milk on occasion, it has an interesting taste.

Because you are coinditioned to think that something is ACCEPTABLE, like eating meat.....and something is "out-of-the-ordinary"....like thinking for one's self and going against what they were taught and how they were raised.....especially in our society.
you think you are a forward, "revolutionary" thinker, DATASPORE, that you are on your way to enlightenment......but you are just another clone, albeit a little more intelligent than most.....
you're fanatical in your actions, not your motivations.
i never claimed any sort of forward/revolutionary thinker status;
nor do i think i deserve it, nor would i want it.
we're all on our way to enlightenment chief.
'intelligent clone' is an oxymoron.
hehehe i just remembered a bit of
doggerel from a book called 'radical vegetarianism'
that i read about 15 years ago:
franks and beer,
with good thoughts and cheer,
are better than beans and sprouts,
with worry and doubts...
or something like that.
this thread has reminded me of
why i first became a vegan;
you do raise some good points err_eur,
although your signal to noise ratio
could use some work.

What about Sushi? Is that bad? Cuz those Japanese people seem to live forever...and for those Rightious Veggie Christians...didn't Jesus eat fish?
Just throwing that out there...
The fact is that humans are omnivores...we are designed to eat plants and animals...
Eat a balanced diet and if you are morally moved to not eat something then don't...
It's really not that difficult...
