Here - I'll save you having to scroll and ask again:
Are you seriously suggesting that Canadian forces are in Afghanistan as an autonomous fighting force, entirely independent of any other NATO forces deployed in the region and not part of any coalition, and that figures for civillian casualties don't apply to your particular mission?
Are you honestly seeking to distance yourself and your task force from US forces operating in Afghanistan?

silly boy.
Come on Breqs - where has the gallant and noble freedom fighter gone?
Couldn't shut you up about the righteousness of your mission yesterday - now you're reduced to childish pedantry.
How about tackling a few of the questions I posed you earlier?
+1
the world and society i live in is now suffering as a result of the gross mismanagement by the coalition.
paramedics in australia are dealing with a sharp dramatic increase in heroin overdoses thanks to the liberty loving actions of your fellow comrades.

He's a fucking wanker.
Nothing to argue about here on his side...he should right his wrongs and think outside of his little poppy patch and see how the war is being funded.

@popslut, well according to an earlier post.
M. Bréqs wrote:
Depends on what you define 'kill'. The sniper who pulls a trigger certainly kills somebody. But does the artilleryman who enters coordinates kill somebody? What about the loader of a tank's cannon? Did the loadie who mounted the GBU-12 bomb on the aircraft kill somebody? What about the intelligence analyst who identifies a likely insurgent command node and passes that up the chain of command? Is he a killer once that location is targeted? What about the logistician who delivers the bullets to the infantry? Did he kill?
Ultimately, you could consider this 'aiding and abetting'. So, if you answer yest to the questions above, then I have killed a lot of Taliban. I sleep great at night, thanks.
BUT!! This heroic connection between the canadian military is ONLY in the canadian military dammit! The connection between collateral damage on the parts of other countries, and the role the canadian military plays in aiding and abetting those factions has NOTHING to do with the civilian deaths, but Canada and the canadian military would gladly like to point out that all non civilian Taliban and insurgents killed of course are subject to the logic mbreqs states here!

Machinesworking wrote: TL;DR Almost nil my ass! I'm sure that at the very least 1 in 5 people killed as insurgents and taliban were neither. That would be a good number in a typical war with soldiers in uniform on one side etc.
OK then; burden of proof is on you. You're going to make an assessment from the computer in your mom's basement that is more accurate than our post-action reports and Battle Damage Assessments (BDAs), huh?
....moms basement huh? ad hominem attacks are always the sign of a valid argument right? and the statistics of the accused are always the most valid evidence of wrongdoing. No military would ever fudge some records to conceal anything right?
Oh wait! the victims are all mental midgets that couldn't count bodies because (drumroll) they cannot read!!
FYI I'm older than you, own my own business, and haven't gotten at all personal about this. Good job making yourself look bad.

seriously, in this thread, you're a fuckwit.
1. not everyone on the internet is going to agree with you.
2. you have a chance to DISCUSS the war with someone with a unique viewpoint, Breqs is fielding as many questions as he can and this is your input? limpdick.
4. Breqs isn't resorting to name calling, he gets annoyed but IMO in the context of debate, he's schooling your ass, you lose hands down, stfu kthxbye.
wow, killing puppies is bad, war is bad, why don't we start a thread on 'fire is hot' and get all whiny about that. bunch of inte-fucking-lectuals up in here. that's politics on a MUSIC forum for ya.
