couldnt set no input. because RME ASIO does not have seperate section in live for input/output, only has RME ASIO or NO AUDIO. so latency was 11+11=22ms.
got a new machine, so here's an update (respect to adamjay for his help!)

This is a very nice machine (above configuration at around $2500), but unfortunately not mine (performed the test while configuring it for a customer).

Been using it since 2002 (priced at around $4000 at the time). Upgraded recently to maximum memory (1024 MB) and a faster hard drive (original was 60GB, 5400 rpm).

this seems a bit too high, mate. Have you crammed a lot of stuff in there? The specs are like my thinkpad, only mine is 1.5 ghz and peaks well below 30%...

i reckon its because he has a Pentium 4 Mobile and you have a Pentium-M.
two very very different cpu's.

How is the iMac going? I'm sorely tempted by one but I had my doubts about heat and noise. So is it cool and quiet?
