Touch DJ for iPhone update today!

The good news: We can now finally import music directly from the internal iPod library. Great!
Other stuff: Every track needs 2 - 3 minutes of loading time, the first time. Not optimal at a party if you haven't prepared the set like this. But its fine if you've already done it.

Some tracks seems to jump during the first 10 seconds of play time. Those were 48kHz VBR Mp3s, so might be it. Standard 44kHz 320kbps Mp3s plays fine.
It does not however play 16bit/44kHz files, "CD quality". It crashes and requires a system reboot when trying to load those. So you should know your musics format before trying to import it while DJing in front of an audience.

All in all its good news, we don't need the Amidio Sync service anymore. Just add tracks in iTunes like normal, and use the internal iPod for import. :)

iOS 4.1 finally brings direct ipod library access (instead direct import which was already there) "with a new API class called AVAssetReader.
So that means that local library files and iPod tracks are on a fairly equal footing and that when the other apps catch up you won’t have to waste space uploading the same tracks over and over, nor deal with lame ad hoc WiFi upload schemes."

That looks like another fine example of the audio not being what's going on in the video and they're too busy making commercial like edits to just straight demo the damn thing.

It's a sneak preview not a demo.

"This video shows only one of available modes; formant osc. Thanks to phenomenal accuracy (2000 degrees) of iPhone4 built-in gyroscope you can play melodies perfectly in tune."

What can I do with my Iphone 2g without wifi?

My Iphone 2g doesn't play music properly anymore and won't connect via wifi... so it's pretty f*cked up.
The screen still works, and I can install software via itunes.

Is there any midi-software that can be used without wifi-connection?
