f) i had a little behringer analog mixer years ago, and it was noisy. Then i went to digital gear. I gave the little behringer to a friend of mine: it was a fuse. Now it is quite silent, for him (but he plays the electric guitar, often distorted)

Your answer to (d) only shows how ungrounded you are. A true professional in any walk of life can explain their work to the layman and engage in rigorous debate and discussion with those removed from their field. where is the "trolling" in such an obvious sentence? 90% of the so-called "music" nowadays is very simple music, even a child can understand it after two times it was played: easy chord progressions, easy melody, 4/4 stuck rhythm etc. This is commercial music (90%), but at least it is still music LOL. No one knows underground music, let alone what you call "classical music". Regarding the mainstream, if you want to listen to some complex or interesting music you have to choose only those 5-10 rock bands (all american, sometimes english... because of the imperialistic matter). People calls "music" what we here call "musica commerciale" that is to say $$$. It is an industry, not a form of art. It is like movies, or literature. We separate artistic movies and commercial movies, art literature and commercial books, junk food and haute cousine (which is an art in itself). You, in america, have not this distinction, because of different culture, i guess... We call it "quality", you call it "wow, cool!"
