Hi,
FINALLY Got some music up on the site that was made in LIVE. At long freakin' last! tee hee
www.pitchblack.co.nz/home.htm
The soundtrack to the live .mov file is straight off the desk, no overdubs/edits. Sorry its mono for the video tho - one of our mottos here at pitch black is Big Rewards For Headphone Stoners.
The Gatherer: Live at Sandwiches (A wicked club here in Wellington, NZ) also straight off the desk.
Ape to Angel is our newest studio track done in LIVE, Logic and S3200. Its a bit more downbeat than most of our stuff but it's where our production style is heading.
The other stuff is 4 and 5 years old. Pre LIVE days.
enjoy!

A new ambient track - Inspired by Tim Hecker

After more than 3 weeks hard work of programming, composing and arranging, I've finished another Ambient noise track.
"Haunting Wind" is no easy listening, in fact you need plenty of listenings to find out what I mean with this track, or to feel something for it.
There is almost no beat at all, only ambient sounds that builds up an interesting soundscape. Sometimes it's chaotic, and sometimes it's really beautiful, at least to me.
I have tried to make it as interesting as possible, with many sounds to listen at, so you can find something new every time you listen.
"Haunting Wind" is inspired by the great artist Tim Hecker and his interesting music.

I'm impressed. Very Impressed. Live 3 is the answer to my inspiration questions. I have 2 ideas I've written so far in Live 3 and will be using it as my "Go To" app for starting from scratch.
Thank you Ableton!

I've posted about my group's music before, but we just finished our first studio CD and I thought I'd share here.
It's the first full-length CD project I've worked on in Live, and it's the best experience so far I've had in music production.
You can check out 2 new tracks at our new web site at

I did the "Bush League" single at
http://onezeromusic.com/ in Live; there's a free downloadable sample.
A few months back, I went through a remix stage, and both were done in Live:
"Red Fiber" and
"Bring Me the Lion", which I mentioned elsewhere on the forum.
I'm doing music for some upcoming performances now; if they're worth hearing I'll let people know.
