yeah, but on the other hand it is so good because it is 'one closed compact story' it was only supposed to be a certain (rather short) length...

Love my R25 so much I got a R61 to go with it!! :D

Although two sliders have crapped out on the R25 after 5 years of baggage-handler abuse, Its still going strong.

I really like the Remote 25, although twenty-five keys are a somewhat few. The grey border in the lower left corner of the image belongs to a Yamaha Motif 8. Lotsa keys!
My Remote is still working fine despite being about six years old and having experienced some road usage. Its 25 keys are just enough for sketching that short synth riff, the chord progression or a quick bass line, though not sufficient for playing melody and accompaniment in a piano-style fashion.

The Genelec 8020 are nice monitors. They mercilessly pull almost every weakness to the surface that the cheap headphones, I used before, concealed well. I was astonished how clear they show panning imbalances and even slight distortions. It's like one's ears being replaced.
For bass-heavy music the 8020s do need support by a (still missing) subwoofer, as they just go down to about 65Hz, so the bass fundament lacks a bit.
Long story short: The Genelec 8020 sound bigger than they look.

I don't regret having bought the Genelc monitors.

stay tuned

korg zero 4 bought it real cheap new and the lay out was is a bit cramped so just did a knob mod and little paint for work flow..alot of peeps say they had bad luck with this mixer but its going real good for me ..only had it for 2 months tho but have done two gigs with it and it was great ..not as good sound quality as my Rane tho..

i hear you... i am a huge Genelec fan, especially the whole 8000 series range...
and their wall mount installation series is absolute unmatched...
i also recently came across that Genelec guarantees a minimum of 10 years supplying any replacement part / servicing models which are not in production anymore... YEAH! (they basically have the same manufacturing / quality / servicing philosophy like neumann microphones)
