Suburban spread, homogeneous strip malls and franchises, and soul killing work for pointless materialism isn't good for the planet either. I can keep going. Anybody who has a problem with it can kiss my fat ass, I could give a fuck what's culturally sensitive or offensive. If I see it, I'm gonna call it.

btw, Mexico is a country which consists of Mexican people... i have no idea why you think you can separate those two concepts... it's really not the same as saying "i like you, but i really hate your shirt"...

there's a big difference between the way you diss Anglo-American culture and they way you diss Mexico, just compare the language you use when you talk about the two...

In social terms, Culture is the concept of shared though and expression.
This can be done in many ways, artistic, philosophical, intellectual and through
custom, humor and ritual.
So, a country or "Place of birth" has very little baring on culture.
This is why we are able to describe places or countries as "Multi-cultural".
New Zealand, for example, is often described as a "Bi-cultural" society where Maori
and European cultures try to respect each other and get along, while also remaining distinct
and respectful of each others "Cultural practices and protocols".

well...european culture originates in europe...
and Maori culture originates in NZ...

in Israel for instance...
there are Christian and Muslim Arabs...
they share the Arabic culture...

and there are Jews ...
some from Europe...some form Arab countries...some from Africa...
they share the Jewish culture...
a Jew can decide to start acting like a european...
but for the racist you are a still a Jew...
a black guy in the US.. .
does not have the same culture as his kin in Africa...

so there are fusions of cultures to create a new one..
being from NZ you have a 'New Zealand culture' which is the fusion of both Maori and Euro cultures...
culture is more of a true 'identity'...

Good examples in the previous post, which illustrate "culture" is a tool shared within a group of people which gives a template for living life in there a cultures own meaningful way. It is missing the point to judge a tool as better or worse than another as long as it does the job effectively. its valid to say west african music utilizes poly rhythms as an generalization, but to rank something always relies on the subjective.

Last night I watched a movie that up until I watched it,had no clue what the movie was about or even it's basic theme. Just rented because it had Harrison Ford in it and that's it. I HIGHLY suggest that anyone considering the illegal immigration issue watch this movie. It's written from about 5 completely unique perspectives and is absolute and unquestionable proof that within the present US immigration system as related to the systematic means and ends of operations that it implements, illegal immigration DOES NOT WORK. Get a clue peps. It could NOT be made any clearer. I don't give a rats ass if you are the biggest bleeding heart liberal on the face of the planet, whether you yourself are an illegal immigrant (most likely using Ableton Live without a legitimate license to begin with (dirt bag))or whether you are some neo post modern hippie screaming give ignorance a chance, all your thoughts in action are rolled up into one big conclusion in this film. You and those whom you support are doing YOURSELVES, YOUR CULTURE & ETHNIC ORIGIN & THE LEGITIMATE CITIZENRY of the United States a MAJOR DISSERVICE.
