Actually, 80-90% of american people don't even know what the rest of the world is talking about when referring to U.S. The utmost they can do is asking themselves "why they hate the glorious land of freedom"? Or they just talk about "terrorists" against U.S.A. (even if they are 4.000.000.000 people haha
).
We know exactly why the people who hate us hate us. Either we are dropping bombs on them or supporting a government that supports our interest more than their own people.
Now go do something productive, and hopefully positive with your day.
Re: Elisabetta
Wait, you think the rest of the world "hates" americans? They just hate U.S. dictatorship, not americans. At most they have a sort of "pity" for them, because 80-90% of americans totally ignore reality. For instance, I don't hate you because you don't know anything about U.S. crimes and what's happening in the rest of the world. I just read and think "my god, poor americans, italy had not even such a level of brainwashing war propaganda during the fascist dictatorship"...beats me wrote:We know exactly why the people who hate us hate us. Re: Elisabetta
In my opinion, the problem about americans is that they generally feel they are really "superior". That is not their fault, of course, it is just the consequence of nationalist war propaganda and "U.S. supremacy" ideology. Something like the germans in the 30s. 80-90% of americans behave like that. Again, it is not their fault, of course. it is just war propaganda bullshit. But it is real, alas. See here, for instance: when americans feel "hurt" for my opinions they start reacting like pussies, talking about "Mario" (?), italian food etc. They tend to "mock" the supposed "enemy" as if it was a war between nations

My vote in this situation would be for us to not support militarily; we already bailed Italy out once (google: WW2) and the typical Italian Ableton user appears wholeheartedly unappreciative. I mean, how many times do we need to liberate them anyway?!?beats me wrote:I think the fact that we didn’t bomb Syria is a sign the government is paying attention to the American people’s and world’s opinion. But I’m not completely delusional. I know a large part of it is we can’t afford it. (Of course we can afford it. Have you seen what we spend on our military? We could stop all spending now and still bomb the world to smithereens for the next decade without a hiccup in pace. It’s more of a symbolic “can’t afford it”).
But given that, if there was some kind of social uprising in Italy I think it would be extremely hard to convince Americans and the rest of the world that the US needs to get involved militarily. There’s no definitive bad guy. A lot of people right now would like to rise up against the corporate and special interest controlled governments. There would be global sympathy for the citizens of Italy. The US sending their military to Italy would only inspire more global uprisings. History shows that at some point these uprisings of the general population will win. I don’t think the people in power right now want to test this being that point in history again….which is already on the edge.

You are tha man haha! "liberated"
P.S. the ones who fought the nazis and entered Berlin were the soviets, not americans. U.S. entered WW2 because it was a great business for them, after 29 financial crisis. Just this. It has nothing to do with "freedom" (apart, maybe, in some "captain america" comics books, "rambo", or some shitty pop song for brainwashed U.S. "proud" ones
The last italian U.S. "liberated":

(the very strange concept of "american freedom"

He is such powerful he cannot even do what normal democracies have always had (free hospitals, no death penalty, no guns etc.). The utmost he can do is to confirm old U.S. war strategies and renew U.S. international terrorism

The reason is clear: if he really started something "social-democratic" in U.S. (americans call this "scary socialism") he would be killed the day after.
it's a democracy, not a DICTATORSHIP!!
[/myrnova like response]
why do you think they call it Obamacare? he IS the one trying to give us all universal health care... unfortunately for us, he is not a dictator so he still has to go back and forth with a bunch of Republican assholes who don't believe in any form of charity or compassion that doesn't serve the rich and the elite.
how fucking crazy is that?
he is attempting to give us what you say we should have and is being blocked by a certain group of Caucasian people that act very similar to "ALL" THE WHITE PEOPLE that you claim make black people a bunch of poor slaves. the truth is... they make all Americans who aren't rich a bunch of slaves... that shit is colorblind. it is determined by tax brackets not skin tones.
and maybe you're right about Obama being killed the next day if he tried something like what you posted in the quote above... but here is where you are WRONG... "Americans" would not call it "scary socialism" some Americans would. i voted for the man and i have no problems with the agenda that some in this country are calling socialism as if that's such a horrible thing. you make statements that imply all Americans are the same or all white Americans are the same or all black Americans are the same... when nothing could be further from the truth.
that is why so many of the people on the forum have issues with your statements. you deal in absolutes... all Americans this, all blacks that, all Aussies this, "Italians...", "The rest of the world...", "the whole world...". your last few posts are full of that shit. you say you only mean certain Americans, then in the very next sentence you talk about 'all Americans' again as if they/we are ants or bees, all the same. those are childish statements and teenage thought patterns. generalizations such as those are the realm of the narrow minded.
Obama was voted in by a majority... he even got the popular vote not just that Electoral College bullshit vote, but he's still a politician. i voted for him, but i didn't just vote for Obama...oh no no... i NOT-voted for Romney. does that make sense to you? do you get what i'm saying? i absolutely DID NOT want another Republican fat cat President to take the baton from that piece of human shit George W. Bush. what you fail to realize is that i would LOVE to see a marine holding a gun to Bush's head while he was naked and wearing a leash... and not because i'm in to freaky shit, but because i think he deserves it.
if you take off the blinders you can see the world from a broader perspective.
Re: Elisabetta
wait, you really believe Obama is different from any other one?! You think for real republicans and democrats are different?!
Or you are just joking, like docprosper talking about "U.S. liberated italians", and the others talking (morbid) jokes about "black people having the same rights as everyone else" and such?
I am serious: are you joking (ironic) when you talk about "democracy" in America or is this the level of brainwashing propaganda in U.S.?!
Re: Elisabetta
no you stubborn motherfucker... i HOPED he would be different... because voting is all i can do.

Re: Elisabetta
voting is the only tool we have. we only have so many people we can vote for that actually have a chance of getting into office. this time it was Obama or Romney. would it make you happier to hear i voted for the latter?
i would vote to send food not bombs. i would vote to send books not missles. i would vote to send doctors and teachers not marines. we (the American people who have normal jobs and work for a living) don't get that choice though.
what else can i do? i'm not going to prison for an attempted assassination if that's your suggestion. for what? so Italians can feel more Italiany and less Americanized? pfft fuck ya'll! i don't give a shit... stop buying Levi's, McDonalds and Apple crap brainwashed bitches. i'm just trying to make ends meet, pay the bills, feed my family and live my life... if i can help change something i will, but i'm not going to be the guy on the grassy knoll if that's what you want.

I repeat: in my opinion the U.S. are not a real democracy but a military dictatorship controlled by corporations, based on capitalism and founded on "white race supremacy" ideology (american masters killed millions natives, had slavery and segregationism till 1965 and their main business is war). Because american citizens get brainwashed about "living in a democracy" does not mean it is. Infact it isn't (in a democracy death penalty, segregationism and such don't exist, owning guns is not allowed, hospitals and services are free etc. Above all, real democracies don't invade other nations and don't commit neither crimes against humanity nor are condemned for international terrorism). For instance, Berlusconi's party is called "partito della libertà" ("freedom party"). Should this mean he is a honest and fair "demcratic"?!
Re: Elisabetta
wait... so taking care of people who are sick without expecting a bunch of money for it is not compassion?
giving a child a vaccine or performing a procedure that their parents cannot afford is not charity?
because that's what I mean.
i had to pay $3000 just to be told i had a broken heal and be given crutches and one Vicodin. i was very poor at the time. i slept on the floor of my tiny apartment. don't act like you know me or what i've been through.
it's pointless trying to talk civil with you. no matter how much I agree with your views you just change them to make me look like a terrible American. you don't want me to change anything... you want to hate me for who you think I am and for where I live.

I am talking about U.S. (the state), not about you (a single one). Stop being such nationalist...

you.
Re: Elisabetta
As already said (a thousand times), americans (90% of them) react always like that any time a foreign person "dares" to criticize their state: in this case they start being pussies, post megapictures of Mario Bros, talk about pasta, "mock" the supposed "antiamerican ememy" and such. In my opinion this is just a consequence of massive brainwashing propaganda since they are 3-4 y.o. When they grow old, all these war shit clownish rituals (flag, pledge of allegiance, god bless america, troops etc.) become a sort of "taboo", something "sacred"... Scary and funny at the same time, for most of europeans, because all this reminds the nazis.H20nly wrote:you.
