I really like this thread and all of the data it produces. What do you all think about creating a Google Docs Spreadsheet to store this information in so that it can be compared more easily?

Based on this thread I have upgraded my computer from a single P4 3ghz which was getting 90% CPU meter at 2 tracks, to:
1) Ableton Live CPU Meter 26%@2.4GHz
2) Laptop/Desktop? Make/Model? Custom Desktop
3) Operating System? Windows XP SP2
4) Ableton Live version? 7.0.1
5) CPU Make, Model, and Speed? Intel Quad Q6600, 2.4GHz plugged into a Intel DP35DP motherboard
6) Amount of Ram? 4Gb DDR2@800MHz
7) Soundcard (and driver version if you know it)? Virus Snow TI (8ms latency stable!), Audiphile 2496, Digi 002R with Rosetta 800 for output
8 ) Hard Disk Drive Speed (if you know)? 7200RPM WD SATA
9) Number of playback tracks? 8
No overclocking because I have a large heatsink with no fan for CPU cooling (silent system uses fanless cooling on everything including the PSU).
I have to say I was REALLY happy with the upgrade to Q6600 and the DP35DP. It cleared up a lot of weird issues I was having both latency and stability, even with projects that were most utilizing DSP from my TC Powercore unit.

Hey people, has anyone in the world actually tried one of those Mac Pros with 2xQuad core processors going on?
8 cores, seriously. I need to know if live actually utilises such a NASA machine at all! Just for the record as well, has anyone even touched a computer with 32GB RAM inside it?
