But stated above is fine. I really like that Mike said
"Just because you killed Jesse James..."
I still stand by hoping Mike is the victor. Wifey's going to have some protector instincts kick in at some point, and everybody is well aware of how wack Walt is getting. Unless he's planning or planned EVERYTHING for the whole season and we don't know until the end, I don't think it's going to be pretty for him. He shouldn't win for the sake of breaking the cliche. He's brought nothing but misery to everyone around him and he simply does not care. Not saying justice will win in the end; life isn't like that, but this is tv. I hope he becomes everyone's bitch, actually.
I was digging the latina chick too.
I think you're right - my take was he was putting himself in Gus' position and Mike in Victor's. It was the way he said Victor got his throat cut for taking liberties by cooking a batch when Walt and Jesse were refusing to work. Now Mike is taking liberties in taking a cut of his cash to pay off Mike's people.
There's no way Walt would be that friendly with Jesse without being up to something. I can see some fucked up shit happening soon! And I really don't think this can or should end up with a happy ending for Walt.
the throat cutting comment could only be aimed at Jesse.... it's definitely a hint that Walt is really getting twisted by the whole thing... maybe to make us less upset when he gets what's coming to him
I think up to now we all hoped he'd somehow get away with it, but I think that was a hint that he's getting too evil to be allowed to
end of the day the network probably can't let him win

A couple seasons ago I too thought it would be cool to flip convention and have Walt get away with it but it can still be flipped by having the main character we used to root for get what's coming to him and we enjoy it. The arc is the strong point here.

it's sure an interesting one - he's so much the main dude of the whole thing it's going to be hard to watch him get it
but then I was pretty gutted when Stringer Bell and prop joe copped it in the Wire too... I hated that Marlow, he was nowhere near worthy

Just finished watching it - wasn't expecting that at all, though you knew he was going to do something given he had a little piece in the "Last time on breaking bad" at the start.I thought he was going to get stuck on top of the train! But yeah, he looks like a good character...

Let that be a lesson to kids interested in taking creatures out of their natural habitat for their own amusement.
And wearing your helmet in the desert is lame.

After the rest of the episode lulls us into thinking this is turning to another "fun crime caper" show, that ending reminded us that we're not watching Leverage.

Soon as Walter says “You’re fat!” to Skyler, show of the century. THE CENTURY.

I repeat, Skylar has got to go. ffs. The character is becoming annoying as fuck. I was really hoping based on the mid part of last season that she'd come on board and suddenly become more ruthless than Walt.
Alas, we're finding ourselves firmly in mediocre writing territory as far as that goes.
The scenes with her are fast bordering on the unwatchable. Fucking annoying fat cow.
