I like how someone says Ableton has nothing to worry about yet the first thing I get loading Bitwig is a repository for downloading packs instead of having to get on a browser to download them separately.

But the first thing I see when I load it is the option to download a number of different packs (like Live Packs) from a menu.

With Live you have to go to their website and download the packs separately.

So it could be symbolic as an introduction that right off the bat BW made something less of a hassle.

I would worry about that.

Well, not really, but what an odd statement.

Well, I just tried the demo. First thing I went for was the Sampler, and guess what.... IT CAN'T SAMPLE.

Guess they shouldn't have copied Live so closely.

I'm flabbergasted and I just don't get it; if I were writing this program from scratch and it came to the sampling device I would at the absolutely very least make sure it could damn Sample.

So what's the workflow then? Exactly the same as Live's; freeze/bounce in place > right click slice to *insert device*.

So the one big thing that would have tipped me in Bitwig's favour isn't implemented. I'll probably stick with Live.

Bitwig just doesn't seem to be as complete as some tried to present it. No track grouping is one of the major complaints.

well ,i always think ableton must improve their daw ,,bitwig become a good choice for the future ....for example i don't understand why ableton don't make a server to download all pack and keep update (logic has...and now Bitwig..)

lfo?? ableton make this easy with max but in bitwig is much better

i don't think ableton make some changes in 9.2...in windows still has the contrl+D problem...come on make this like osx!!!(a continued copy) (i asked to support time ago but till nothing changes) ...this is an example that i don't like in live...they don't focus on little things

now i'm tryn bitwig demo..i like but i continue to prefer live configuration and push hardware..but...drums instrument are better than live's default and sound seem more rich (and drums are the base for electronic music) anyway i'm wait some updates and i'll deicide what use for the future

max for live??? m4l is become a fuxxxxing business program ...i'm courious to see bitwig modular system

another thing...in bitwig i don't like stupid meter level like logic
